Nice symmetrically divergence of the UL clouds in that area tagged by Multi-Sat as the LLC.

The 12z best track was sort of a compromise between the low level circulation and the mid level circulation. IMO.

Looks like they're going to start running advisories on PTC2 at 11:00am.

My posts are my own personal opinion, defer to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and other NOAA products for decision making during hurricane season.

HRRR has been doing well will the short term convection. What it does with the current low to mid level circ on radsr is interesting

It's bad in New Orleans right now. Flooding everywhere and just started heavy rain again. Afraid it's not gonna be pretty through "Barry". https://twitter.com/DylanFedericoWX/status/1148951142832988161

We need to have an observation, warning, watches thread made, so we don't get too many of these in this forum

Looks to me that a circulation is present south of Destin. It is broad and poorly organized. I would not be surprised if the NHC postpones this afternoons recon. 92L should continue to slowly organize and should be a TD in the next 24 hours. Thinking top end TS or CAT-1 cane at landfall.....MGC

LL inflow picking up - purple arrows.
Good symmetrical UL outflow - red arrows.
Correlates well with Multi-Sat LLC.

A lot of duck characteristics happening.

I think that center is coalescing south of where it is officially. Texas is nowhere near out of anybody's woods. Neither is Louisiana. My eyes only.

it's the only thing happening at the moment, so it doesn't bother me. Hell, I have one car flooded at home, and another one stuck on a median somewhere. This sucks already.

No way they postpone recon, they might cut a mission or two, but with the threat risk we already have, they want eyes in.

That mid-level circ is starting to look quite vigorous... I'm keeping my eye on the area around 28N 87.2W.

With landfall being within such a short window, I can't imagine they cancel it.
