Convection to the west of the CoC needs to chill before this can get its act together. Some convection firing off near the center now, but this looks ugly at the moment.

As far as where it's going, it looks like the models are trending toward the Legacy GFS :lol:

The souther vort is rotating se and shiuld gain some energy as the ither dies later. So now we wait some more..

Next we’re gonna retire the CLIPR and get accurate runs outta that.

If this system does become an actual storm will it still go north toward NOLA or will stay west longer.

First TD of the season since Andrea went straight to STS. Is the thinking still weaker storm further east stronger storm further west?

I can see 3 different vortices rotating around a point. Of note is that in the SW quadrant of the storm where recon found 30-35 kt SFMR winds, there are two buoys right on the flight path reporting 15-20 kt winds. I still don't trust those SFMR winds...
