I feel so frustrated even though I knew the chances were low.

It’s just that I’ve spent so much time looking at each model and each run that I’m exhausted. I feel for all the forecasters who have to make products like rain fall maps, wind maps, etc ...

Really wanted this to come here.

At least I got some severe weather Monday. Always a bright side.

I really really really effing HATE June through August.

September may be hot to start, but at least we have College Football starting that last week of August/First week of September.

Funny text I got yesterday...

Texas Seasons:

Winter
Spring
Summer
Summer <---- Reminder: we're only about here.
Still Summer
Summer when you'll wish for Winter
Still Summer
Summer Again
Fa... nope. Still Summer
Fall Some Days, but mostly Summer
Fall (for a week)
Winter

Darn. Was still a bit hopeful. Well, you know this means now weeks of hot, dry weather.

The GFS ensembles are our last hope  doesnt turn right anymore though the Euro does

I'm considering the UKMET an outlier for now, it did shift to Galveston though and goes basically NW from there up to west of Dallas

On the boat now since the models are hinting at a bit of heat returning (push for 100 again) once Barry reshuffles the 500mb pattern.

One side is ridge building behind a TC (they do bring heat from the Oceans afterall) and on the other side is seasonal trends tell us there might be daily weak opportunities for random showers depending on placement of ridge. At the moment no mass rain event.

Another daily post to remind everyone how much Summer sucks.

I’m going to link this and post it on the Winter thread this year when people say “oh well, bring on 80 plus and Summer”.... :D

Well folks.. that pattern was fun while it lasted. Looks like we’re about to enter hell for a while now. The rest of the month looks downright awful.

Lucky you! You got what I got last Monday. Seems like a distant memory already. Not seeing anything on the GFS Legacy until the 25th of July. I'm sure that'll get pushed back since the last week in July and first two week of August are the climatologically hottest, driest time of year. Yay. I'll be hibernating.

We picked up a few quick Barry showers over the last couple of days and yesterday was very enjoyable, cloudy with NE winds. Then today I show up in Austin and Downtown got dumped on pretty good.
