Hope you are right, bad time not to have a plane in the storm.

Thanks, I flew in a P3 in the late 60's while in the Navy. I sure as hell wouldn't want to fly in one through a hurricane. Those short, stiff wings are tough
on your body.

Are we gonna have dueling Hurricanes??? looks like we could have 2 separate hurricanes going up at the same time. I know it won't happen, but that's what it looks like.

I could be going crazy but it’s looking like a possible eye developing on IR in the deep convection, hope this isn’t the beginnings of an increase of deepening

I see at least 3 eyes. One in the west, one in the center, and one where it is close to the center. None of them appear to be over the center. Just an illusion. :double:

Yeah I don't know whats going on either. Don't think I've ever seen anything like it. And no recon? I know one thing...Im staying awake until I find out what is going on lol

Now it looks as though both halfs are trying to expand towards each other and join up again.

Fujiwhara??

Fuiiwhara might occur between dueling vorts, to a certain extent, but this is only one storm. The LLC will pinwheel a bit as it gets pulled under deeper convection, as has been happening today.

No one is pulling for Barry to do anything. But Barry does expand in a larger area than just the center of LA. It has been making changes that might impact others so all eyes are on this. We all hope and pray things will not be bad but a lot of some very smart people on this site see things changing and want to keep up with the progress of this storm. It actually helps everyone involved.
