That runs looks straight towards South Florida. No way does it go past that ridge :eek:

The weakness created by Erin (98L) on the 12z ECMWF is able to draw Dorian far enough north to avoid death over Hispaniola. Then the ridge builds back in, bending Dorian to Florida.
