The main weather radar in Puerto Rico that is used to forecast weather is NOT working.
BUT, the
@nws
says it should be fixed by tomorrow.
A new part is needed.
There is a smaller radar that the weather service is using, & it’s working properly.

I suppose it's worth mentioning that even if Dorian manages to miss Hispaniola to the east, the close proximity could still weaken it a bit. Those high mountains can disrupt many systems close to it.

looks like the partial eyewall is going to go directly over barbados. looks about 50 to 60 percent closed.

Looks like recon wont get there before landfall so no direct measurements until is passes and re organizes.
