What halloween pranks have you done?

#1 Postby JetMaxx » Sat Oct 18, 2003 10:38 pm

I'm about as mild when it comes to Halloween pranks as they come. At age 42, I've never rolled anyone's yard, nor "egged" windows (or trick-or-treaters) with rotten eggs, tomatoes, or walnuts. I've certainly never set anything on fire or broke the law....as my father did a few times by setting nearly full sacks of manure and toilet tissue on fire on neighbor's front porches (causing his neighbors to get in an awful mess when they "stomped out" the fire

About the worst prank I can recall was once putting on a "Jason"-type hockey mask (from the movie Halloween), and scaring the bejeebers out of my baby sister (Beth) and several of her friends.
When Becky and I were growing up, I'd also sometimes cause strange noises on Halloween night (creaking doors, cassette tapes of people screaming, monster groans, etc) which usually sent Becky running to mom and dad's bedroom in panic :D

Were you like me....doing nothing worse than scaring younger siblings; or were you like my dad....really devilish on Halloween?

We rolled the INSIDE of a friend's house when he
was at work...of course, when he came home
and saw that the yard was untouched, he thought
that he was safe....

Last year me and my friends took a paintball gun and attacked my enemies' parents garage door with it. Blue paint ball marks everywhere :)

With the active connivance of her mother (!), I once engaged in a toilet paper raid in a girl's bedroom, and it was "masterful"...interwoven carefully in each of her drawers, clothes, and closet were yards and yards of multi-colored TP (this was in the late 60's, they had it back then)in a basketweave pattern, after which her mother made me a cup of coffee and gave me a sweet roll, and out I went (the young lady in question was attending pom-pom practice at the time).

She "got me back" later in my backyard, where she left TONS of TP, burning kerosene lamps from the local gas company, and a sign from her subdivision (just to let me know who was responsible, I guess)...I later heard that she had the whole pom-pom squad assist her! :o

I never did eggs, but I did corn, soaping windows, toilet papering, and detergent in fountains. This was as a kid, mind you. Our family was frequently on the receiving end, as my father was the assistant principal at our high school. Ane we did get eggs. What a mess. That's probably why I never did eggs.

I've done the papering and soaping. I only papered a house once. It rained that night and the owner recognized me so my Dad made me go and clean up my mess. That's why I only did it once. What a pain in the butt. Speaking of pain in the butt, I got that whipped too. OUCH

Me and my buddies got some inside info on where the class snob cheerleader was babysitting on Halloween night. We waited till about 10 PM and snuck around to the back of the house and screwed in an eye hook about 4 feet above the steel bulkhead (a entrance to a cellar for those of you who don't know). Next we tied a couple of heavy steel nuts to the end of some fishing line, thread it through the eye hook and made out way into the woods probably 30 to 50 yards away. We proceeded to carefully raise and loser the nuts so that the nuts would drag on the sloped bulkhead cover, or let them drop fast and crash with a bang. Either way, we had this girls panties in a wad. We could see her peering out the blinds, and turning lights off. We kept it up until we had to get the heck out of there quick when we saw the cruiser coming down the street.

We always had our escape route planned.

Oh..and there was this one. We took some airplane glue and made a line across the road. We then waited for a car to come and light it to create a small, but frighteneing none the less, wall of flames. We would then run and hide in the woods and enjoy are a little prank, while trying to keep from busting out laughing.

Me neither, but initially it was because my parents would have killed me if they would have found out I did something like that. And later on, I realized that I should not do something to another person that I would not want them to do to me.

Same here. I have a sense of humor... but hate foolish, pranks people do to other people.
