No. While the eye is over water the islands are still in the eyewall, and he just made a little wobble south.

Its wobbling

No movement in any direction

But yes. The stall should of started lifting it already. Maybe soon.

Wobble Watch 2019 continues. I almost bought into that northward movement being a real thing, however, radar loops indicate that Dorian is wobbling its way back to the south. In fact, the southern part of its eye looks to be moving back over the northern coast of Grand Bahama Island.

On the IR animation you can actually see the eyewall is looping and dancing around...

The hurricane just lifted up and set back down on the Bahamas. Brutal for those stuck back in the Southern eyewall.

I’m glad someone else saw that lol....wobble, trend, wobble? It looks to me like it just took a tiny dive southward as well. :double:

Need next set of models.

I don't see how it goes north right now if it's stalled. Needs to be going west to hit that steering

Storms going through eyewall replacement tend to wobble a lot. The inner eyewall will often loop around within the outer eyewall. Perhaps we'll have a clearer picture of Dorian's general movement once the EWRC is finished.

I used radar from the Melbourne NWS site as a reference, so use this with caution - especially, with the EWRC going on. Motion over the last 4-1/2 hours has been 295 degrees on a compass. Also, it has only moved 3 miles in 4-1/2 hours.

Good to see you and some other folks on here from 2004. Crazy we have been here for 14yrs

We must be getting old lol. Good to see all the familiar faces.

Dorian still sitting over very warm waters and Grand Bahama is getting hit hard still.

24+ hours of 100+mph winds. I imagine that would have to stretch the bounds of sanity

This is one of the worst hurricane damage I’ve ever seen worldwide. Even worse than Irma
