Good morning posters...

This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Good morning fellow Storm 2k'ers.. Nicholas is about to become history and we are waiting to see if we get any more storms.

The question is whether we will or not and how many..

Comments welcomed :)

Good morning to you, too. 8-)

I think something will develop in the Caribbean during the next few days. Just a hunch.

well...Climatology speaking this is the area that often spawns late season storms.

I would say we may see 1-2 more Storms this year

I agree.. 1 or 2 more storms and probably the Gulf or Caribbean. The Atlantic is shut down after Nicholas now.

I would like to see 1 or 2 more storms. I'd hate to see such a busy season end just like that with over a month of silence.

I am thinking 2 more named and only 1 hurricane.

The posts or stuff said are NOT an official forecast and my opinion alone. Please look to the NHC and NWS for official forecasts and products.

Model Runs Cheat Sheet:
GFS (5:30 AM/PM, 11:30 AM/PM)
HWRF, GFDL, UKMET, NAVGEM (6:30-8:00 AM/PM, 12:30-2:00 AM/PM)
ECMWF (1:45 AM/PM)
TCVN is a weighted averaged

Opinions my own.
