I just think all the politicians should work together for the comman goal of The people of the United States..instead of bickering and calling each other names... All that time of He said She said they said is a waste of money and time. IMHO..Stop pointing fingers grow up and run the country......The Constitution..says "For the people by the People" I think some elected officials have forgotten that  There is a war going on inside this country between the Dems and Republicans..How can we honestly get anyone to respect us as a super-power if we can't even get along..Just some food for thought

very good rainband, problem is they can't agree on what is the best for this country and the people. everyone has their own opinion of what is best.

I agree to a certain point there Rainband. They were all in agreement after Sept. 11th. Which was a good thing. It will probably never happen again though.

but do u guys agree with politicians staying in really expensive accomodation means with the taxpayer been left with the bill.

A few months ago is was revealed that our prime minister had been staying in europe at hotels that cost $1200 per night with our taxpayers been left with the bill...

I PERSONALLY THINK IT STINKS

tropicalweatherwatcher,

When one is a head-of-state, "expensive" hotels are a MUST...security concerns, proper reception areas in-suite for other notables, etc.

There's a lot more to modern statecraft than economy...other things must be considered in the total.

An Austrailan PM staying in a Motel 8? Bad form, mate. :larrow:
