A reminder to move clocks back one hour

#1 Postby cycloneye » Thu Oct 23, 2003 5:34 pm

On saturday night before you go to bed you will have to change your clocks and move them 1 hour backwards to get to Standard time depending on what part of the US you are the time zones will be EST,CST,MST and PST.Here in Puerto Rico we dont change our clocks all year so we will be behind the EST zone by 1 hour.

If you are at central time zone for example here in Puerto Rico it is 6:00 PM AST or atlantic standard time and you will be at 4:00 PM CDT that from sunday morning but right now you are 1 hour of difference.

Except for residents of AZ and most of IN, those of us in the CONUS will get an extra hour this weekend. Now why can't we get an extra hour EVERY weekend?? hehe. :)

I change the clocks and watches here Saturday afternoon before...why wait? Besides, it gives me ample time to properly calibrate all of them to the second (using my "atomic watch" as a base chronometer).

What the h%$#, it gives me something to do.

Since I am in Puerto Rico I have a question about this.

Why in Arizona, parts of Indiana and in any other state they never change the clocks?
