15 PIECES OF ADVICE TO BE PASSED ON TO YOUR DAUGHTERS:

1. Don't imagine you can change a man -- unless he's in diapers.

2. What do you do if your boyfriend walks out? You shut the door.

3. If they put a man on the moon -- they should be able to put them all
up
there.

4. Never let your man's mind wander -- it's too little to be out alone.

5. Go for the younger man. You might as well, they never mature anyway.

6. Men are all the same -- they just have different faces, so that you
can
tell them apart.

7. Definition of a bachelor: a man who has missed the opportunity to make
some woman miserable.

8. Women don't make fools of men -- most of them are the do-it-yourself
types.

9. Best way to get a man to do something is to suggest he is too old for
it.

10. Love is blind, but marriage is a real eye-opener.

11. If you want a committed man, look in a mental hospital.

12. The children of Israel wandered around the desert for 40 years. Even
in
Biblical times, men wouldn't ask for directions.

13. If he asks what sort of books you're interested in, tell him
checkbooks.

14. Remember a sense of humor does not mean that you tell him jokes, it
means that you laugh at his.

15. Sadly, all men are created equal.

OMG - that is hysterical!!! As soon as I liked one best, I'd read the next and crack up.

Wish my mom had told me about #2. 28 years ago today to be exact (yep, got married at age 20 back then, what was I thinking?!!!). Could have saved me a lot of heartache....LOL Hey, #1 applies to my ex too!!! Think I'll have a talk with my mom.....but I imagine I wouldn't have listened anyway!!!

And finally, I thought at first Jen had started this topic, sure sounds like something she'd dig up. The flip side to that PMS topic going around...... :-)

Its funny, yet its the truth. I've seen it before and as I get older, my mom keeps mentioning some of these statements

LMAO, Those are great.

My Mom always said women go into a relationship thinking they can change a man and men go into a relationship hoping the woman will never change.

Oh I loved these. Right up my alley. I'll have to share them with my mom. ;)

This is in a more serious vein. Mothers need to teach their daughters to put on some clothes when they go out. I see some outlandish, skimpy outfits at school. How could the moms let them out of the house showing all that they do? Asking for trouble..........

It is truly scary and I thank God every single day that he gave me boys!! I just don't think I could handle it!! My momma always told me that one day God would give me a girl who was just like me and that scared the bejesus out of me b/c I just knew that God's sense of humor would do that!! Thankfully He had mercy on me and knew that I would be a nut job if I had daughters!
