Can't rule it out fpr your area this evening. Wouldn't look for any big flakes. Moisture is decreasing. Best chances are between 5pm and 11pm when the HRRR indicates the warm nose to be gone.

Looks like my best shot is 11pm-3am. Not deep moisture, but saturation between 850 and 950mb where temps are below freezing on most models. The shallow moisture would mean small flakes but flakes do seem likely.

20Z HRRR at midnight for Lindale. Man if there was moisture around 700mb we'd be in great shape.

I'm often misunderstood. I like two types of weather - hot and snow. Nothing in between. I get as excited as all of you when there's a chance of snow in Houston. However, 45 and misty drizzle (like today) is not good. I'd rather the temperature be 95 degrees if it's not going to snow. Hope you see a snowflake there so that we can move on to summer. ;-)

It looks like there's a small batch of light sleet (based on mPING reports) heading towards Parker and Tarrant counties from the Southwest. Maybe the Westplexers will be able to see a little bit of winter weather after all.

Getting a pretty good sleet shower with an occasional snow flake mixed in on the West side of Keller.

Edit: Mostly rain now as of 4:45.

Suddenly 80% chance of snow for the next two hours in Frisco. Where’d this come from??

Leaving work at Keller Central High School for those who know that area and there was a decent amount of sleet on the windshield. As I went west toward home off 35W some flakes mixed in.

There's a little bit more snow mixed in with this latest batch. Starting to accumulate a little on cars. Still rain and sleet mixed in as well.

I am almost in Blue Mound/Saginaw area in north FW where I live. Looking out the windows I see a few bigger visible flakes. I just hope the moisture can stick around a bit.
