Re: Texas Spring 2020
Long range HRRR but has a broken line over DFW I assume along the Arctic front tomorrow afternoon with temps near 80 the 3km NAM sort of hints at it too

HRRR keeps shifting the overnight complex farther north. A farther NW batch of rain might result in a larger warm sector tomorrow across Dixie Alley?

Yep that caused the supercell to dissipate and is why storms have gotten going later than expected across west Texas.

Re: Texas Spring 2020
That storm that came through Del Rio, passed just north of Uvalde was nasty last night. That was one mature supercell.

Re: Texas Spring 2020
The cap prevented much of south central Texas from seeing any storms last night. So frustrating when a forecast busts like that. Austin and SA didn't get much at all...oh well.

Re: Texas Spring 2020
While the coverage of measurable rain was pretty close, the amount was way off. 3 day total here in southern Tarrant was less than a .25"
Heard some drive-by thunder this morning as cells past well to the south of me. Looks like Sunday will be much better than forecasted as it will be mostly sunny with highs headed into the low 80s. Not sure if this front will be a cold as the last one was, but we'll see.
