Terrorist act?

#1 Postby coriolis » Mon Oct 27, 2003 9:16 am

Penn State football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a

>player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field.

>Head coach Joe Paterno immediately suspended practice while police and federal

>investigators were called to investigate. After a complete analysis, FBI

>forensic experts determined that the white substance unknown to players was the

>goal line. Practice was resumed after special agents decided the team was

>unlikely to encounter the substance again.

My first thought was the chalk powder used to stripe the field.

LOL @ "goal line" being unknown to the Penn State players.

It must be a Pennsylvania thing. The Steelers had the same problem yesterday. ROTFLMAO and crying at the same time.

Thanks Ed
