Watch me be wrong.

Global models are starting to come to a bit of a consensus on a STC forming in the NW open Atlantic around Tuesday the 9th and Wednesday the 10th. Right now the people who voted for June 3-10 have a good chance of being right.

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

I'm guessing Dolly will make her appearance mid-June, coming through the MDR. June 11th-20th was my vote.

I'm thinking Mid-June, considering the start the season is off to already.

This is for you young forecasters: My mentor's explained, always look for the next system's when busy with the current. Never be surprised. It could kill you or your friends. We analyzed imagery for bad actors. Same thing in as sense.

Cheater!

So much for my July "prediction," although I'm not sure it really counts anyway since it was a wild guess and I never actually voted.

Well, I had the correct date (today), but the wrong region of the basin. At the time I made the predix, i obviously did not think Dolly.would form where it is now.

Speaking of hand-grenades, wonder if Edouard might just be the next one in about 10 days? I'm gonna guess right on July 4 but down in the far Western Caribbean. Time for another poll
