Hanna’s third center fix came in at roughly 27.07N, 96.11W, and 977.3 mbar at 13:28z. Using its first center fix as a reference (27.03N, 96.00W, 979.6 mbar, 11:43z), I can calculate that Hanna is crawling at only 0.0669 degrees/hr and experiencing a pressure drop of 1.3 mbar/hr.
If Hanna keeps this pace to the WNW, it’ll make landfall at roughly 27.30N and 97.30W, and it’ll take almost 20 full hours to get there. Taking off 2 to account for land interaction, if Hanna keeps on this track that recon suggests and keeps its 1.3 mbar/hr intensification rate, it’ll bottom out at about 954 mbar.

Bad news for Corpus if the latest motion fixes continue. .04 north-.11 west...thats slightly north of due west. Of course this could be a short term jog. Slowing down might give Hanna a shot at CAT 2 status at landfall.

My posts are my own personal opinion, defer to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and other NOAA products for decision making during hurricane season.

It’s so slow that it might be over water for up to 20 more hours, which will be enough time to get to the 950s at it’s rate of intensification.

In corpus now, it's gets sweaty out here. Winds picking up ALOT. Fixing to head over to North Beach. Will keep you guys posted. I'm thinking of live streaming off my Instagram when she makes landfall. I want that eye wall footage baby

Looks like a bit of dry air is wrapping in, if it can cut it off we will probably see strengthening at a faster rate.
