Beautiful. I thought it was the Flemish Cap. :D

I didn't think it said anything about this storm, just that it was a gorgeous picture.

59kt flight level winds just reported from Miss Piggy.

Reduction puts that around 50-55 kts, no? Still about what I said.

Been awhile since they sampled the NE quad...likely a little stronger there.

haha no he is remarking about my location on my profile. I changed it to Flemish Cap after the movie Perfect Storm because that's where the "Category 6" storm went.

If anyone in sofla was on the fence about a genny, checkout what less than 50mph gusts do to the FPL grid...you have been warned

Today's weather in the bay area is exactly what the zone outside of hurricane should feel like...a subsidence blowtorch. Tampa reached 98 today. at the same time dewpoints tanked into the low 60's. even at the 8pm ob it's still 94. southwest oven feel. I hit the beach. Our shelf water must be about 90. blood warm.

Oh, I know too well. After Wilima we put in a 22kw Generac on the side of the house ... never again.

You mounted a generator on the side of your house? Is that what you are saying?

That genny significantly reduces the FPL anxiety level

Latest recon center fix would indicate pressure is rising (999). Convection isn’t saving this so far.

Yes, in the aftermath of hurricane Wilima we were without power for 3 weeks. We made the decision to install an integrated standby generator from Generac.
