Here in Cape Canaveral: intermittent rain bands for past hour, now steady. Occasional gusts of prob 20-22 mph. Know more is coming, but for now, nothing worse than a reg summer afternoon storm. Will post again if surprises happen, but just another day in paradise so far. (For ref: I’m 1/2 mile from edge of Atlantic just south of Jetty Park)

What is the HRRR? I've seen it referenced several times.

Rapid run model, not made for the tropics and I find it maddeningly inaccurate for my local weather, but it has its uses.

High Resolution Rapid Refresh, it is a mesoscale computer model

None that I know of, perhaps someone else has a link to one?

This viewer has a lot of overlays if you can figure out how to use it.

Not any sites, but I highly recommend GREarth for your desktop/laptop. I am able to overlay satellite, radar, weather observations and computer guidance all at once.

Every morning I wake up and it looks like it's strengthening then by night it looks like garbage, will the gulf stream finally help Isaias buck the trend?

Then either stay awake all day or asleep all day, depending on whether you want Isaias to be strong or weak.

Ocean sure did calm down fast. Could've been much worse had there not been shear. We got lucky.

This storm has struggled with shear, so here's to hoping it continues. 8-)

And it’s still struggling, the MLC is 50miles NE of the LLC unless it reformed in that MLC area

Agreed. I think the LLC is the little hook near the coast (see models thread for future radar depiction of that).
