wow- got kind of quiet in here after the major threat to Florida has dissipated. Us poor North Carolinians are left to fend for ourselves-lol. Let's hope this system does not get its act together and strengthen anymore before plowing into our state. After the last few years we really don't need another hurricane!

There isn't much happening to affect anyone at the moment. If most people agree with the NHC and limited strengthening potential and combine that with most people understanding where it's going, there isn't a lot of back and forth. Hopefully y'all will be able to post some photos and videos tomorrow night if you see anything interesting.

Latest data is borderline on whether to go 65 kt or keep it at 60 kt. I'd probably want to see more conclusive data though.

Eye wall feature taking shape on radar.

The mid-level circulation with all the convection seems to be wrapping around IT'S center, and I am thinking that's what many are seeing when we talk about an eye, a wall, a wrap-around...perhaps developing NOW...

...meanwhile the LLC off to the SW of it seems kind of naked, and empty of convection. Perhaps it will move under and vertically stack in a way that strengthens the core for intensification, or not. Granted it is hard to even see, and maybe it's gone and the mid-level core is all that remains now?

Anyone with the expertise to interpret the radar and other images and the baroclinic aspects able to comment on this please? TY.

Where do you see the landfall in NC

No expert here at all...I'd watch the NHC...but were i anywhere between the upper SC coast over to cape lookout..Yikes. a slight rightward adjustment wouldn't surprise me owing to current reorganization efforts...the net effect of which might yield a slight rightward adjustment..that seems to happen more often than not. There was a dropsonde near the center, but it looks like they missed and there was a 40kt wind NNW at the surface which was 994MB
