I caught a great glimpse of the aurora last night. The NE sky was bright red for almost an hour last night. As they started to fade out, they went to a milky white appearance. It was a totally cool. This was my second aurora that I've seen. The first being in the winter of 96 when I was in school in Vermont...but last night's was totally amazing. I wish we weren't in the middle of packing and moving because I would have tried to taken a few pictures with the digital camera...but it has been moved to the new apartment and is currently MIA :(.
