The sign near Wendy's fell apart on Reed's stream. I wonder if they're missing the eye.

Reed might be in bad shape. There were some impacts on that car.

RailDawg! If you're back there, flash your headlights at Timmer in front of the Wendy's so we know you're OK!

Not a meteorologist, in fact more of an idiot than anything. You should probably check with the NHC or a local NWS office for official information.

How is the eyewall intensifying? Radar reflectivity is even higher than when it made landfall!

Yeah this doesn't look like it has weakened at all since landfall. Pretty terrifying. Lake Charles being a bit inland isn't helping it at all.

Also for perspective, this is a street view of Reed's current location.

Thanks. His vehicle almost got guillotined by a yellow sign.

When is the eye supposed to get to his location?

Laura has no idea she's onshore yet. Eye and north eyewall absurd intensity keeps chugging along.

On TWC they were expecting to be in the eye, but saying since the Lake Charles radar is down, they're using Houston radar, which might be giving an inaccurate representation of the position since it's so far to the side.

Yeah, it seems like he's on the East side of Lake Charles going by that sign in front of him - Lakeshore Drive and Broad Street
