The upper troposphere is now cooling down for the season.
This is usually when we get the very deep hurricanes.

If it ends up in the Caribbean, the trough that would recurve it in the Atlantic would send it into Florida instead.

it does not look like the wave axis is over Africa any longer. Looks a decent amount offshore.
