I think it’s going to step stair it’s way to the coast. Expect a wnw movement to resume.

I think NHC needs to put a Hurricane Watch Eastward to at least Navarre, FL

Radar doesn't reflect that. The center is currently jumping NW, but is probably going to loop around a bit as it gets established.

Now that you can see Sally on radar there no
confusion on location or movement. IMO

Are you looking at the same recon data I am? Recon has found the center to be now be east of 87W, which is right in the middle of the deep convection.

Glanced at recon and assumed west position newest. Center at red crosshairs.

Gotcha. That's what I thought may have happened. It's a rapidly evolving situation what the center relocation!

Agreed. I think this could end up more east than many expect. Just look at euro ensembles from last night, they all have stronger storm going into AL and even P'cola. And that was before the center reformation.

Maybe it's just my eyes, but it looks to me like Sally may be getting caught-up in the deep steering flow and is starting to race off to the north. If that's the case, it's gonna make landfall a lot sooner than tomorrow night (and further east too).

Radar is good to look at right now for movement.

I think there have been some erratic movements the last few hours as the center reformed to the east with the remnant old LLC acting to cyclonically advect the new center to the north. I think the motion should stabilize soon. Nonetheless, these short term jumps can have big consequences down the road.

LLC and MLC are perfectly stacked per Recon.... no more reformations going on.

assuming shear has indeed dropped off.. then given the current structure

this could be quite likely starting an RI phase.

Looks like it's becoming better established where it is . Hopefully they initialize this correctly on the 12Z.

I've been working remote since March, and it is coming in handy now! Getting ready to head outside, and start putting things up.
