Sat pics this afternoon are not different from this morning in other words not organized and no deep convection wrapping around that low so I agree with the TWO.

Agreeing with the Tropical Weather Outlook and the "Plan of the Day" saying recon. is planned for 4:00pm EST "are two different things," wouldn't you say? :)

At the 5:30 PM outlook they up the wording a tad.But the global models are not too bullish than before as Stormsfury has posted in another thread but let's see the next runs from them to see a trend towards a weak system or otherwise.

Great, we could use it after the dry spell. This is the beginning of our dry season. The more rainfall we see, [compared to normal], from mid October to May the better. :)

There was a very small shower to my northeast this afternoon that moved southwestward, I could see the rain shaft to my west as it slowly moved.

The cloud was very dark, looked like a thunderstorm, but there was only one lightning strike in the entire U.S., (southern Canada and northern Mexico, western Atlantic and eastern Pacific between 1:00pm EST and 3:00pm EST. It also got very breeze for about ten minutes; along with the breezy day that has existed all day.

I agree TOM. Seems like in the TWO. It says wsw or w. seems like the sw thinking is fading..maybe it may hit near the space coast as the models showed earlier?? This is the tropics..anything is possible

Subtropical Development would be the best bet ... this system is very much being dynamically enhanced by that southerly jet streak easily seen on IR and WV imagery. Possible tropical development? Yes.

But the environment, I repeat is "CYCLONIC", not anticyclonic aloft!!!

The 5:30 AM outlook now says a sub-tropical or tropical cyclone later today so let's see what happens and if recon will go later today as the plan of the day said yesterday.
