I have run out of things to say about this absolutely ridiculous season lmao, three storms in 24 hours, in the Greeks a month ahead of 2005, and blasted the September record for NS to smithereens

Yeah it is mind boggling for sure. I am speechless about this crazy season!!!!!

It saves them the embarrassment of an unnamed storm. I'd expect the actual start time to be moved back at least 24 hours and it would have been Wilfred if named at its actual time.

But on that note, an argument can also be made for Wilfred being classified before it was.

And with that, we now once again have four active systems at once in the Atlantic.

American NHC making advisories for a country next to mine. Surreal.

I know TD Vince made landfall around here in 2005 but will this be the first Tropical Storm or higher to hit this area on record?

This season is trying to exhaust the Greek alphabet too.

We're going to be up to Delta or Epsilon at this rate by the end of the month.

How outright absurd is it that it's looking like Paulette coexists with Beta at this rate? We've gone so far off the rails the train is in the stratosphere

Colors of lost purpose on the canvas of irrelevance

Not a meteorologist, in fact more of an idiot than anything. You should probably check with the NHC or a local NWS office for official information.

Seems like that guy has gone off the rails. Maybe we should stop posting him.

And there it is. History made again. Still 2 1/2 months to go, and maybe some after that if the last time we entered the Greek alphabet. Didn't expect it to happen so soon. We will be at Beta before the end of today.

Lol we're going to have Beta and Paulette active at the same time aren't we while it's still not even the end of September. :spam: Just cancel the season already!

His Twitter posts are just as bad looking at them. I think a new rule should be we don't quote him on here anymore. (Not a shot at you Enzo, just for future reference)

I've learned by now to ignore pretty much anything Bastardi says about tropical cyclones. He puts his politics first when it comes to TC forecasting.

I was expecting a more exciting buildup to reaching the greeks again for the first time in almost 15 years, but it all formed so quickly that I feel more jaded than excited :double:
