Tropical Weather Outlook
Statement as of 10:30 PM EST on November 1, 2003
For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico...
A large and complex low pressure system centered about 500 miles
east-northeast of Nassau in the Bahamas is moving toward the west
southwest and could become a subtropical or tropical cyclone at any
time. Even if it does not develop...this system is forecast to move
toward the west-southwest or west and bring heavy squalls to
portions of the northern Bahamas and Florida during the next day or
two. Interests in these areas should monitor the progress of this
disturbance.
Additional information can be found in high seas forecasts issued by
the National Weather Service...under AWIPS header nfdhsfat2 and wmo
header fznt02 kwbc.
Elsewhere...tropical storm formation is not expected through
Monday.

Since they keep saying, "including the remnants of TS Nick", won't it be Nicholas again if it forms?
