The system approaching FL appears to have decreased in organization today and development is not likely at this time. However we will need to watch this as it goes into the GOM.

I doubt it will ever do much of anything. Long term (tue night-sun)...early in the period main focus will be
on deep slug of moisture now over the northeastern Caribbean. As
upper low slows it westward movement and starts to stretch out in
the central Gomex...the upper flow will become southeasterly...
allowing the moisture to move north into Florida. Could be some
locally heavy rain Wednesday if the system moves right up into US...
but too far out to be specific yet. I did raise probability of precipitation to 50 percent
over the south on Wednesday.
