This is the 6th consecutive runs now that has ETA in or around SFL, right? One thing I also notice in these runs is that keeps it insisting that ETA will make a left turn over or near SFL/Keys

That’s pretty consistent, even for the GFS

Now moving further out into the Gulf, I fully expect another N or NE turn soon:

Front is on the way through Texas... This is going to make an abrupt U-Turn and head back for Florida. Big Bend to Tampa most likely.

At 246, it's heading NNE toward the panhandle, it's gone from Gordon to Michael

Through 24 hours HMON is slightly weaker and a bit NE of the 18z position.

Differences between the 0z HMON and HWRF. HMON has a 980mb hurricane at hour 45, but HWRF has hurricane by hour 21

I moved a bunch of posts to the moderation forum but got tired of moving them. Stop feeding trolls. People that accuse others of -removed- will be warned or removed from the site as it is a direct violation of S2K rules. Attacking other members is not allowed, period. Thanks to those that reported the posts, I really appreciate it.

Apologies if your post got removed just because you quoted something.

Euro no longer completely into the EPAC looks to stop movement over land. The other area develops further north. Looks like it moved a little closer toward other solutions.

EDIT: 168hr stronger and heading more North similar to GFS.

Looks like the Euro caved to the GFS. ETA has the potential to be a big story for the Southeast later this week...but first priority will be to see how it impacts CA and what kind of problems it will cause there. After that’s done then we can see
what’s left of it as it heads North.

I think this run heads to Florida. I see ridge building in.

Ridge was an understatement...LEFT TURN CLYDE!!! It didn’t even use its turn signal. Typical South Florida driver!!!

Euro looks very similar to GFS...front coming through Texas will turn it back towards Tampa to Big Bend area.

Is that Eta or Episilon? Unlike GFS looks like Euro generates this from the monsoon gyre. Hard to tell.

I think it is still eta...just looks like a small piece breaks off in CA but the core stays intact and comes back out over gulf of Honduras. After Eta should be Theta, if my Greek is up to par.

If that run went out further, that would get turned back into the Florida west coast. Front coming is clearly in view.

You are right
The core is still there and is not disrupted as it moves back off the coast, so it is still Eta
