My posts are my own personal opinion, defer to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and other NOAA products for decision making during hurricane season.

I’ve never heard it pronounced EE-tah, ZEE-tah, etc. A quick google search suggests it’s more “AY-tah”

Layman’s english pronounces it like AY-tah. Actually all of the greek letters sounds a bit different in their native tongue. :P

Sometimes I wish we were born in a language that wasn’t as phonetically confusing as english lol.

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.

My posts are my own personal opinion, defer to the National Hurricane Center (NHC) and other NOAA products for decision making during hurricane season.

I am only a meteorology enthusiast who knows a decent amount about tropical cyclones. Look to the professional mets, the NHC, or your local weather office for the best information.
