Past 2-3 hours constant heavy rains with winds in 40’s. Classic TS conditions up here. Enjoyable weather to watch as long as the Dolphins game stays on TV. 8-)

Nothing to really write home about here in Key Largo. Been caught in nasty thunderstorms fishing that are about the same as what we have been dealing with.

Tua carrying us through this drenchy day. It's been solidly stormy for the past couple hours as well in Sunrise. Street submerged. And we still have the gustiest bands to go overnight. Drenched soil and floating objects from the floating is going to make the wind's job easier. And then another half-day of moderate weather after as we go through the back half of this.

Gusts are picking up in W. Boca; rain is not as bad as it was last night, but our pond is filling up. Small leak in the living room - something to worry about for when the weather will allow to have the roof checked. No Dolphins fans here :-P, but happy to still have power.

I do think, looking at the SFWMD radar, that the hook to the left has begun over the past couple of hours: https://www.sfwmd.gov/weather-radar/cur ... conditions

Same where I am at in Homestead. 20's gusting to 30's with rain squalls quickly passing through but with light to moderate rain and no insane downpours so the streets are draining. On the radar it looks like we're going to get the northern 'eyewall' soon but as mentioned before the action for this storm seems to be to the north a ways. We will see soon enough if any of the incoming squalls have more weather with them for us down here.

Doesn't really look particularly tropical anymore. There is almost no deep convection near the center. It is all to the north and east. Gonna be a lot of rain though
