Anyone have accurate wind speeds for North Key Largo , all I see on the weather channel is 35 mph no way very stromge winds

Doppler radar data indicate that Eta has made landfall on Lower
Matecumbe Key in the Florida Keys as a strong tropical storm with
maximum winds estimated to be near 65 mph (100 km/h).
A WeatherFlow station at Carysfort Reef Light in the Florida Keys
recently reported a sustained wind of 52 mph (84 km/h) with a gust
of 63 mph (101 km/h). Another Weatherflow station in Key Largo
recently reported a wind gust of 53 mph (85 km/h). A wind gust
of 47 mph (76 km/h) was measured at Homestead Air Force Base in
Homestead, Florida.

Majority of power outages are in broward and palm beach10k+ with a few thousand in Martin, dade and st lucie per FPL. Lake worth could be out for all I know. They’re not the best with storms

Yah and even though it made landfall in the keys the majority of the storm is taking place on the peninsula while the keys is dealing with surge for the most part which is no fun either.. no shield anywhere tonight

Cleared out a majority of the dry air from earlier today and shear is very minimal. Hurricane today if the dry air keeps away.

Earlier a station down there was reporting wind gusting close to 60 mph.
