Mark, Thanksgiving is a national holiday in the United States. Most families here have a large meal with family and friends, who even spend the weekend together; thus in some cases a lot of people have the next day, Friday, too.

Thanksgiving is always the fourth Thursday in November, which is November 27th this year.

SG was caught stuffing french fries in her nose at Mickey D's
