Live it Citrus County where ETA is supposed to come ashore. We'll see how nasty it gets here later tonight. We have had just under 3 inches of rain since yesterday. So far this morning the rain has been light with very little wind.

Winds are still offshore in Venice so their regional airport just a couple of miles inland is just reporting wind gusts in the 40-50 mph.
I am sure they will be stronger once the winds start switching more onshore.

I thought the same for the moment but that was apparently just a dry slot and the LLC is still moving NNE

Very remindful of the 1993 "No Name Storm" when we had storm surge more than a mile inland from Kings Bay in Gulf of Mexico. The shallow coast area is notable for heavy storm surges between here and Cedar Key, Fla. That storm also hit us with hurricane force winds, too.
