I'd say 105 kt based on that data.

Regardless, 2020 will be the first November ever with two major hurricanes.

A blend of 100 kt SFMR combined with 122 kt FL wind would suggest 105 kt is a reasonable current intensity.

I though that was the NE quad?

It looks to me they are doing the same NE to SW and maybe SE to NW like the last recon missions.

Extrp pressure at 944...thats over 20mb drop in the couple of hours since the last recon left

It's moving west so the NW quad would be right-front, they should get the NW quad on the next pass if they follow the same pattern they have been on previous missions

With the latest SFMR reading, 110 or 115 kt appears more reasonable now.

I think they might just issue a new Special Advisory and increase the landfall intensity forecast.
