Falling pressure in the GOM system?

#1 Postby Stormcenter » Tue Nov 04, 2003 3:44 pm

No matter what this ends up being or not being one thing for sure is it does having some pretty low pressure and decent winds for not being a classified system. It also again looks to be slowing somewhat as it approaches the coast.

Center of low is close to make landfall at the mouth of the mississippi river later this evening and it's void of convection and water temps are below 80*F so end of story. There will be some gusty winds and some rain in the area of Louisiana and in the pannhandle but nothing more to be concern about.

If this low haved been located in the middle of the GOM not were it is now it would have the slim chance to develop slim because of the enviromental conditions but it would have more water to work with.
