Within my opinion it was fully tropical and based on the satellite and radar imaginary I'd guess probably borderline hurricane of around 60 knots at landfall.

I thank all of you for your attention and analysis for the Med.
Mediterranean: Tropical storm 03M Andira (Elaina). I finally managed to puzzle-assemble the best images (about 7: 20,13: 20, 14:00 on 16 Dec.). It was supposed to be at least T3.0 /3.5 Dvorak according to the satellite. Recall that the storm was formed due to a tropical transition process, just like Karl 1980, Grace 2009, Alex 2016, Pablo 2019, all tropical cyclones out of season, out of the tropic and over waters below 23°C. Over the Mediterranean sea they are informally called ''Medicane'':
