That would be nice. He was with Accuweather then and if I recall he correctly called that storm from DFW to Atlanta. An I20 special so to speak.

It's the CMC but  :spam:

Almost 30" for Denton haha. I'd take a foot in Lindale been almost 11 years since we got a foot in Feb 2010.
Maybe a repeat of New Year's 2000 is in the works.

I remember that year. Jr in HS. I was able to ice skate my neighborhood streets at night. Carrollton area.

Since the last update, the CMC has preformed better than the GFS. So there is that lol

You’re from Lindale? Cool! Didn’t know that. Heck of a football team they had this year.
I am. Jordan Jenkins had an incredible season. I travelled to every playoff game so it was an incredibly fun past couple months. Argyle was on another level though.

A decade of snow in one storm lol

That would double the 2010 storm for DFW :double:

I will take that snowfall map to finish to the year right now with the oath that I will for now to eternity only speak of 2020 as to the positive things that happened this year, for which there are many.

Unfortunately, GFS couldn’t be more different. Hopefully they’ll come to a consensus soon though!

Yeah, the GFS isn't even close. What's the CMC seeing?

The 12z CMC has shifted all the snow to the Panhandle and Oklahoma where they've already had a bunch :spam:

Both the CMC and ICON have plenty of stuff for the panhandle. If that low could track a little more south, we could get something...despite that, upper level patterns look absolutely fantastic even through the 7th, so I’d say the next 2 weeks might be our best chance in years for some good snow.

Models are in good agreement on a big storm for Texas next week but not much support for that being a winter storm.

Possibility of a pretty strong front coming down at the end of the Euro.

I'm not seeing much chance of snow in NE TX next week. Maybe some mid-20s for New Year's in D-FW. All snow confined to the northern TX Panhandle and northern OK.
