Interesting read about the 2010 DFW snow event that dropped 12 inches of snow at DFW airport. Was not forecasted to the extent it concluded. So interesting how this happened. Give it a read and let’s hear thoughts? Maybe something similar happening here.

My hometown in KS was supposed to get a big snow, but it may be too far west now. There has been an east trend, at least further north. Temp has dropped 2 degrees, at 37.

That storm was amazing, however, nws was still predicting one to two inches when 6 inches had easily already fallen around 3 pm that day. However, there was a prediction of snow by nws that day, just the amounts were off and some models predicted high snow amounts. That low was right over DFW as well if I remember correctly.

Edit: didn’t realize you’re in azle, you may have a shot!

Are we pretty much locked in? No more eastern track? Snow will be just west of DFW? Temp has sat at 36 at my place.

Summer's for hibernation, Winter’s my vacation

Don't use my posts as forecast, I'm a complete meteorology noob! I just like cold weather, alright?

All observations I post are for Temple, Texas unless otherwise stated.

If you had the cluster that's developed near me with the thunder, it would be coming down big time.

He's just being mean right now to me. He lives in Carrollton, he's on vacation filming nature.

Got some lightning and thunder here in Ponder right now. Impressive.

Got some ice coming down too, looks like very very small hail

Does it seem like a little sleet is mixing in with this heavy downpour?
