I am by no means a professional. DO NOT look at my forecasts for official information or make decisions based on what I post.

Goal: to become a registered expert over tropical and subtropical cyclones.

All observations are in Tecumseh, OK unless otherwise noted.

Looks like my drive from NE TX to SW IA on Thursday and back on Monday could be a little interesting on both days...

18z Euro drops a swath of 1 - 2" qpf across DFW tomorrow night. If temps are as cold as expected...

RGEM is working ice for DFW by morning. Given current obs around North Texas temps are certainly cold enough.

Monday at 6 a.m. me and my family are supposed to leave for vacation for San Antonio. I live an hour SW of New Orleans. Now really stressed about having travel issues and not being able to make it.

Looks a lot like the 18z GFS-Para. And back to its cold antics.

Icon actually tries to develop a low in the western gulf. That would put Houston in play and could really get interesting across S Central Texas as well. Nice snow axis up I-35 on this run for late Sunday into Monday
