My RadarScope looks like this currently.

Something must be definitely wrong with my RadarScope then, but it shows the precip NW of Houston...

I told my wife I'm giving her snow for Valentine's Day this year......

I'm in big trouble is this falls apart, I did not get her anything else and it's going to be really cold in the doghouse outside.

And she agreed with that? Even if she did, you're still in trouble! :Door: Have a dozen Rose's a card and chocolates hidden in my truck in the garage.

Press the button second from the left on the bottom, that looks like a radar. It will let you choose a different radar site, because it looks like you have the Houston radar selected.

Also, after 5 minutes of freezing rain, we have changed over to sleet with tiny flakes mixed in here in Dallas. Sleet is sticking to everything

There is a growing band between Mineral Wells and Abilene that's developing and looks to be snow (but no reports out there so hard to verify). This stuff is reaching the ground sticking despite the low dewpoints, so it's not virga.

At least they will stay fresh. LOL

My time just got away this week and her birthday was just at the start of the month. Usually I'm good about this but my week got away from me between going into work, getting ready for the storm and our son's Kindergarten class going remote last minute.

Trust me, I know I messed up but she's really cool and I always have made plans in the past and have not missed one in the 10 years we've known each other. I'll survive and make it up once the weather turns nice.

I confess my husbandly sins to the board and you all keep me honest. I love this place.

0Z models def trended towards a DFW and SE TX event with lighter precip in between for tonight. And those same areas are getting the precip tonight also. Radar is starting to pick up all over the eastern half of the state. I don't expect much of anything here until sunrise. I am unsure what to expect snow wise in E TX tonight; could be 2" or could still do decent and get >6". I was hoping that 0Z would give enough data to make a final call on system #1, but it seems to have thrown up more questions.

Did y'all see the dust storm in Vegas today, with wind gusts to 72mph? Foreboding?

Intermittent freezing rain falling here near Frisco. A few big fat raindrops that froze instantly to my balcony as well. Driving would be ill advised in the morning, though that goes without saying here.

Took a trip to the grocery store a couple hours ago to buy a couple more gallons of water and some Sternos, I didn't see another soul stocking up on survival supplies, hope the general populace is ready for this.

Woke up to some pingers hitting the window. Heavy sleet for about 5 minutes. I should sleep more before the big snows hit.

https://www.weather.gov/

So meant to ask earlier, anyone know why the part of Texas by Marfa is the only place that the "county" appears to be not colored in? I'm not familiar with that part of the state. Like someone posted earlier we may never see the entire state of Texas looking like the map is now in our lifetime.
