Re: Florida Weather
Looks like a washout for most of the peninsula tomorrow. Glad the temperatures have moderated a bit, I don't appreciate my token winters being shorted by mid 80s.

I'm with you on that one. As for the wash-out today.... I'm in heaven lol. Make's it feel "fall-like" plus what little rain we do get will help wash off that dry dusty pollen off my car. It's all over the place up here in Central Fla. I'm just thrilled that that I have an excuse to feed the fire pit for another couple of evenings

Turned out to be just a washout of the morning here in Tampa Bay. Sun actually was out for a while this afternoon.

Was expecting more hours of rain than we got here according to the consensus forecasts from yesterday.
Makes weekends hard to plan on for anything outside.

Big bust in the forecasted raininy day in Orlando yesterday, most of us only got a couple of drops of rain, heaviest rains were to the north and south of us. Lots of events were canceled because of the forecasted heavy rains.
Despite a start to fairly "cool" start to our Meteorological winter in December, for a change from previous winters, it ended up being 1 deg F above average here in Orlando thanks to a very warm February with no record lows recorded even back in December.

Yep, rain forecast for the Orlando area a really big bust. RGEM couldn't even nail that down right within a few hours. Oh well, at least it's cool out

Whole heartedly disagree. Top 5 day by me on the Treasure Coast!

Re: Florida Weather
Yes, glorious indeed!! Today should be as well. Starting off chilly and remaining cool in the shade and no overbearing warmth in our breezy full sun low dew points day. Another Chamber of Commerce Day. Just wish we could bottle it and keep this around for the month to come, but we know far better lol. I'm banking on perhaps 1-2 more "cool" fronts (at least for North & Central Florida) around 18th-20 and perhaps end of March but have to believe that Central and South Florida's next night-time 40's will have to wait till next Dec.

We are now in our easterly flow grey gloom - we often get an extended period of this in Oct-November, and again sometime in Feb-April. I think of this as fall/spring transition weather....breezy with occasional thick decks of stratocumulus.

Re: Florida Weather
Wow, we really have nothing to talk about. Looks like a very mild spring cool-off this weekend, and maybe another mild one at month-end.

Re: Florida Weather
a couple of robust storms offshore the nature coast/tampa bay area should make for interesting radar watching the next few hours...and then followed by multiple days of below normal temps with solid hoodie/jacket/firepit weather at night... Minus the pollen this is why it's my favorite time of the year.

Amazing how much difference 100 or so miles makes! Here in E. Coast Central Florida (Orlando area east and north), it was one of the more bone-chilling days of the year LOL. I absolutely loved it but WHAT a blown forecast from our local NWS. Instead of cloudy to PC and temps into the low 70's, we were drizzly with low clouds/fog, breezy, with temps not getting out of the 50's by late afternoon. Models really were flip-flopping all over the place with the location of the low that developed off the SE Conus, as well as with a smaller meso feature off of the Daytona area. Day turned into what my sister and I kiddingly refer to as a "snow day" because of the overall look and feel outside. Minus the wind, it's still pretty cool and grey out this a.m. too.
