Re: Texas Spring 2021
Some big hail reports coming in from northern Tarrant County. That cell south of DFW continues to look concerning.

Tornado Warning south of Denton and that storm around Fort Worth is looking suspicious

@NWSFortWorth — 948pm: Low level rotation moving into the Highland Village (southern Denton) area suggesting increasing tornado potential. Get to shelter as this storm approaches I-35E. #dfwwx

Not clear yet. Another line is expected to develop behind the front and move through the area after midnight. It will be more elevated, so not much tornado threat but still a big hail, wind and flooding threat.

They seem to think DFW S and E based off the watch. Lesser chance I guess where I'm at but anything can happen I suppose

Re: Texas Spring 2021
Apparently parts of Austin got quarter to golf ball sized hail early this morning before dawn, including the KXAN studios (had a video of it). I did not get any hail. Just about a quarter inch or so of rain, which was nice.

Another hyped up amount of rain for SE Tx, zilch. Made sure i had the sprinklers on extra long this am. Late Feb into March is like this during Nina though. Lets hope the transition can bring some downpour for April and May.

Yes. DFW people please share rain with us here in SE TX. I have had barely an inch of rain this whole month and only about 5 inches so far this year. I am all for more storms in April and May!

Re: Texas Spring 2021
I barely missed the big hail to my north thankfully. Surely the drought monitor will improve, though it always seems to require a major deluge for that map to even budge.

We missed the last round of storms thankfully. I have seen significant hail damage pictures from 20 miles to my west. Prayers to Alabama, they can't catch a break.

Exciting news! This past Tuesday I was asked to answer some questions and complete some analysis for the NWS office in Wichita for the meteorologist position I applied for! Additionally today I just got a phone interview for the NWS office in Alaska for the meteorologist position! Very exciting times!

I am in no way a professional. Take what I say with a grain of salt as I could be totally wrong. Please refer to the NHC, NWS, or SPC for official information.
