That storm heading towards San Antonio :double: just popped a tornado warning but softball sized hail has apparently been reported

TORNADO ON THE GROUND! HEADING TOWARDS SAN ANTONIO!

At 725 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located over D`Hanis, or
near Hondo, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and tennis ball size hail.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

Yeah that storm heading into San Antonio doesn't look good at all... Really hope it let's up or this could get bad...

Yeah, the Hail core (Up to Baseballs or Softballs! :eek: ) is heading STRAIGHT for the city, it's going to get really ugly . . .

And a tornado on the southern end . . . :eek: :eek: :eek:

TORNADO WARNING UPDATE: Tornado is not longer on the ground, but Tennis ball sized hail is expected . . .

I was just referring to my area earlier. There is a nasty cell coming in now. Looks to pack some hail.

That is the DFW Supercell, the main focus is the San Antonio Supercell that is going to cause a LOT of Damage in the city . . .

I wouldn’t be surprised one bit if there was a tornado on the ground right now near Castroville, TX. That’s a pretty good hook on the south side.

SA cell looks to be cycling, Ft Worth cell might produce soon, hopefully not.

Definite rotation went right over my house....quite wide. No funnel cloud but broad rotation. I was out barely and one massive hailstone fell from the huge hail just to the north. Just one isolated stone. Literally heard it zoom through the sky.

Close enough shave we got in the bathtub. First time I have ever had to really do that here.

Yeah good thing the rotation was broad. You could clearly tell from the radar it had a lot of tightening up to do.
