Those storms out west, are we thinking they will be more linear or will they be more individual cells?

930 PM CDT Wed Apr 28 2021

The National Weather Service in Austin San Antonio has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
Northwestern Guadalupe County in south central Texas...
Northeastern Bexar County in south central Texas...
Southeastern Comal County in south central Texas...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 930 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Selma, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
San Antonio, New Braunfels, Schertz, Seguin, Cibolo, Universal
City, Live Oak, Selma, Randolph AFB, Windcrest, Garden Ridge,
McQueeney, Marion, Santa Clara, Geronimo, Converse, Nolte, Zipp,
Bracken and Freiheit.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

Yep. You just never know. Lots of hail damage just north I think.

If the rotation would have been tighter my house would have been hit.

Wow, what a wild evening that was! Thankfully the tornadic supercell weakened as it moved into SA or else it could've been really bad. Much needed rain so far from this event which looks to just be starting!

Models are now finally in good agreement on elevated rain chances remaining in the forecast through the weekend. Bring it on!

I captured this picture of the rotation passing just to my South last night. I somehow managed to thread the needle between the rotation passing to my South and the hail core passing to my North. I still had some hail at my location though with a couple up to golf ball size, but nothing like the tennis balls they had just a mile or two North

My dad said he got 4 inches in SA! No hail. My brother also in SA gor marble-sizs hail.
