Canadian Global Interesting LOL

#1 Postby Steve H. » Thu Nov 06, 2003 10:09 am

Puts a hurricane riding the north coast of Haiti, then deepening as it approaches Eastern Cuba. It actually takes it north from there into the SE Bahamas, then north. The other models show a stalled front moving out and a ridge building down into the SE. If there is any validity to it, things could get interesting. Me thinks that its developing an area of circulation near the Lesser Antilles. What it might be trying to signal is development in the western Caribbean. We watch satellites and more model runs. Cheers!!

That's nothing new from my prior treads ... well, at least about the depiction that the CMC and its ensemble members have been hinting at now for 4 days ...

Steve.....JB doesn't talk about the CMC. I will try and paraphrase what JB said because in an post a few days ago he mentioned he was upset people were posting his column word for word.. Anyways:):):) JB is impressed with the Eastern Atlantic wave and lays hints of possiblities. He says the SE ridge will hang around until about mid November and said when we have amplification in the pattern down the road the system in the Eastern atlantic could be in the Western Atlantic and that included the gulf and caribbean. He didn't say the system would develope just whatever form its is in could be in the Western atlantic basin down the road :):):)

Yeah, the 12z NOGAPS shows a low now in the central Caribbean at day 6. Almost at the same longitude as the CMC, but way south.
