If you want to *discuss* issues that is great, but let's not make posts specifically bashing people or their views.

We have had several incidents lately where things have gotten out of hand. I want everyone to remember that we are here as an extended internet family. Most of us have migrated here to escape the flaming and trash that is happening on so many other boards. We will conduct ourselves in a respectful manner! This is on our opening page...
Our mission at STORM2K is to provide a friendly, family type environment for our members and guests to enjoy our common love of nature's weather in all her glory and power. Please join us and help make this an even better place!
Once again welcome!

Those who embrace this misson are welcome. Those who can't need to leave. I'm not being mean but that's the way it is. We allow debate on any topic here as long as it's done with respect. What I've seen lately is a lack of respect in a lot of posts. We all have strong feelings about certain subjects but if you can't debate a subject without emotions taking over then you need to leave it alone.
Every family fights but remember... we're family! Democrat, Republican, Gay, Straight, Pro-Choice, Pro-life, fisherman and golfer, Ladies and Real Women and yes even the Mods and Admins. Let's take a step back and remember why we're here!

We can handle this.. LOL I suggest that those who feel they dont like the debating, then they just stay out of the politial theads, because if there is one thing we debate hard around here.. Its politics
I proved that..I have grown and learned to better understand politics and realize sometimes things aren't always as they seemmf_dolphin wrote:Can we help it we such shy people and afraid to voice our opinions LOL Passion about a subject is a wonderful gift. However the willingness to listen to someone else's point of view is how we grow.
