Post season analysis found Michael was a Cat 5, had 140 KT winds at landfall.

First time I've logged in here in a while, and notifications brought be back to some posts from Michael, including when I posted the link to Google Streetview where Brett Adair got stranded during landfall:
https://goo.gl/maps/jPUYZZgyTKYQ7fmUA
The Streetview imagery currently shown in Google Maps doesn't give the exact date, just October 2018 (but obviously after landfall). The pontoon boat Brett parked next to is shown crashed up against the retaining wall and house. I wonder where his Suburban ended up ... doesn't look like it is behind the boat in the pic. The Streetview imagery in Google Earth is from November 2018, so an unknown amount of time later, and the boat is gone. It was scary just watching that livestream. I hope Brett bought a nice gift for whoever owns that house.

How were you so on point. Creepy. What an early post that almost matched Opal.

Three and a half years later and Michael is still having effects in its wake. Debris from the damaged trees have caused a wildfire in the region that have damaged several houses and are threatening a lot more.
