Ggggoood Mmmmornning!

"Bbbbrrrrr!" It's a CRISP 18° at the moment, with another 1/2 hour till sunup, it could possibly drop to 15° by the time it's over and done with.....now mind you, I'm NOT complaining, it feels GGGREAT!

Yep Jacki, a WHOPPING 8 goblins, I almost ran out of candy "LOL!"

Sure was nice seeing all the snow yesterday, here in town it didn't stick of course, the ground has been way too warm, now up in the high country, THAT'S another story! I went *Snow Chasing* yesterday afternoon, kinda like Storm Chasing.....ran into HEAVY snow just 3.6 miles east of town, by the time I hit 8,000 feet in elevation, 4.2 miles from home, it was snowing like CRAZY!!

Can't stay too long this morning, I've got a TON of things to do......you know, being a bachelor, you tend to *leave things* unattened for a *few days* "LOL!"

Good morning, soon to be afternoon!

I voted on my way to work. It's a gorgeous day out here, so the weather won't be a factor in the voter turnout.

I'm glad that you're getting your "normal" weather now Dennis. By the weekend, it won't get past 50 here. Tomorrow and Thursday we have a chance of showers. I'm loving this Indian Summer!!! :D

Not much going on here. Work is getting back to normal somewhat. They're in the process of tearing down a support wall that was left standing after the collapse. They were worried at first at it's stability so they ordered evacuations of the nearby condominium complex and some businesses until they could inspect it. They found that it wasn't going anywhere (fortunately). The collapsed floors are still there and I think that the whole garage portion will have to come down and started from scratch.

I heard on the news last night that Don King donated $100,000 towards the victim's families. I can't print what I think of the man, but that was a very generous gesture. We're also going to be having a fund raiser in house.

That's all for now. Have a great day everyone!

morning all!! It's 30 degrees here in Olympia..

no snow, just clear blue skies and a lot of frost. I wish I were seeing snow right now... I guess I could head to the mountains, maybe take some pictures.

I voted last year, but this year i'm a bit confused as to how I should vote... so I missed registration.. I'm a TN resident, but I live in WA .. I own property in both states.. I have TN plates and license..anybody know?

Thanks for all of the warm welcomes!! There is a great bunch of people here in the PBS.. Hope everyone has a great day!!

Well we are in a Autumn heatwave here in SE Texas. Suppose to get some relief this coming Thursday or Friday - lets hope so...I am so ready for cooler temps to stay around.

Busy with work - working 10 hours days - got deadlines for year-end around Thanksgiving.

Go and check out the Thanksgiving Recipe Exchange in the Community Forum - would like to see some participation!!!

Well working on the newsletter and all the good stuff so I better push off and get back to the grindstone. Hope everyone has a safe and pleasant week.

LOL Dennis, me thinks if you ran out of candy, you shouldn't have to look far to find out where it went---in the mirror perhaps??

Ticka- I feel your pain woman!! I'm just glad to have a few days to catch my breath!!!

Another day off, trying to change my sleep pattern so I can start working third shift tomorrow night, which means I slept in late today and I am staying up late tonight! :D

Ok, off to mingle as always, brought some hot sticky buns for y'all, enjoy!

I"mmmm BAAAAAK !

Major TGIF going on here. We had a major deadline at work and have been crunching morning, noon and night, including burning the midnight oil, all week. We met the deadline, no thanks to my boss. He put off the final review of the plans and specifications until the last minute, then had a load of picky little changes that chewed up a lot of time and accomplished little. Can you say Dilbert? I need a nice low-stress job - like a lion tamer or something.

It looks like there's a lot to catch up on around here. Have a great weekend everyone!

Ed - sounds like a "Dilbert" comic strip to me. I'm glad that you have it completed though!

Thought I'd check in here at the PBS. I could use some warmth. It's been chilly here all week! :(

Things are OK here. Got possible rain over the weekend and into early next week. Also I am seeing my mom tomorrow and helping someone from work with her computer. :) In addition, I am getting lots of things done that have been needing to be done. :D

It's good to see you Joshua! I'm glad that you're catching up on things!

The moon is out and big and bright. There's alittle shadow now on the left hand side. The eclipse is starting!

Hi everyone, I'm having a nice relaxing weekend for a change. Got caught up on my sleep and not so grouchy.

Hey Stephanie, yes, our leaves are gone. Here one day, gone the next.
I don't advertise myself as a computer expert, because I'm anything but. I should probably keep my mouth shut more often, because others come up with much better ideas. Looks like today will be another nice day. Maybe finish raking the leaves, if the pile in the composter has settled much.

Josh, good to hear from you. I hope the visit with you mom went well. Are those fires anywhere near you?

Jacki and Dennis, we're under the grip of cold too. I guess it's about time.
Our gas bill for October was already $130. Better cover the big A/C and get caught up on the weatherstripping, plastic on windows, etc.

Have a great one everybody!

Hey Steph and Ed,

Things are going well here. I won't be on much today because my apartment needs a huge major cleaning; so I thought I'd do a brief check-in now.

Ed - No the fires never even got close to me, I was a good hour from any of them, thankfully. But the smoke sure got to me.

No rain here yet. Just a plethora of clouds. Made me miss the eclipse last night.
