Hope the 06z GFS is not correct, it will bring insult to injure to SE LA.
The good news is that the 06z GFS is fairly much all alone among the global models, the bad news is that we are not talking about the crappy GFS from a few years ago.
Something to watch over the next couple of days.

Yea, looks like the 06Z GFS develops 91L and then the cold front expected mid next week picks it up toward the Panhandle of FL. as a strong TS. Just what we don't need, more rain.

I just thought it would be in the models thread for 91L that's just why I edited it. Didn't want someone who didn't care to look at Zulu times and dates to think that was the potential storm that was posted on the previous page.

Other models don't show much at all, just a weak vorticity heading towards the FL Panhandle.

12z CMC on board with a strong tropical storm off the Florida panhandle moving east. 12z ICON now showing weak circulation moving E-NE into the NE GOM. Let's see where the Euro is as its been alternating back and forth on a NE GOM solution vs a Tx solution. Does not look like upper level conditions will be favorable for significant strengthening even if it develops.
